ONGOING TRANS/GNC EMERGENCY GRANTS, WITH NO STRICT DEADLINE (AS OF JULY 1, 2020)
INTRANSITIVE BRAYLA STONE MICROGRANTS FOR BLACK TRANS WOMEN & GIRLS IN ARKANSAS: Brayla Stone was a Black, trans Arkansan killed by transphobic violence. This grant from our friends at InTRANSitive is specifically to help Black trans women in Arkansas who are struggling with things during this time.
FUNDING QUEERLY (Astraea Foundation): Funding small groups of organizers led by queer people of color, indigenous, low-income, and rural communities.
CAMPAIGN FOR SOUTHERN EQUALITY: this fund for TLGBQ community groups and individuals has currently reopened. (The South)
NATIONAL BLACK TRANS ADVOCACY TEXAS (BTAC): Grant of up to $125 for people who identify as
- Trans Masculine, Trans Feminine or Trans GNC/Non-binary
- Golden Flame Senior 55+
- People living with HIV
- Ball/House and Pageant
- Health Care Workers on The Front-Line
PBA COVID-19 RELIEF FUND: $500 grants for people (including T/GNC people) who work in the beauty industry. (National)
QUEER WRITERS OF COLOR RELIEF FUND: GoFundMe by Shade Literary Arts, distributing funds to writers (rolling/ongoing deadling for now). (National)
SWOP AUSTIN: Sex Workers Outreach Project of Austin has food and supplies available for sex workers, as well as a limited amount of funds to distribute. (Austin, TX)
TGNC PEOPLES COVID CRISIS FUND OF LOUISIANA: New Orleans-based House of GG community member Mariah Moore started this fund with three other Louisianans, with priority given to sex workers, unhoused youth and adults, undocumented people, and disabled people. (Louisiana)
TRANS DISASTER RELIEF FUND: From the Transgender Foundation of America (based in Houston, TX, but accepts applications from across the US). (National)
TRANZMISSION: Emergency grant of up to $175 to trans and nonbinary people living in or near Asheville, North Carolina.
Community building resources
In the South
CENTER FOR ARTISTIC REVOLUTION: Little Rock-based group by and for trans and queer youth.
GULF COAST TRANSGENDER ALLIANCE: Pensacola, FL support.
INTRANSITIVE: Arkansas-based organization working for trans justice.
KENTUCKY HEALTH JUSTICE NETWORK: Advocacy and support, financial assistance for gender affirming care, connecting folks with online and community resources, as well as advice and assistance navigating insurance for trans people living in Kentucky.
NO JUSTICE NO PRIDE: Washington DC group particularly reaching out to support sex workers during this time.
QUEER APPALACHIA: Queers building connections through art, working on self-reduction, and more.
SUNSERVE: Counseling services in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area.

BIG DOOR BRIGADE: Learn about mutual aid – how our community can be the solution when our government and many organizations are failing us.
COVID-19 MUTUAL AID FUND FOR LGBTQI+ BIPOC FOLKS: In March a small collective raised emergency funds for queer POC folks. They are not accepting applications at this moment, but the notes from their work are powerful and insightful.
IT’S GOING DOWN: Has a list of mutual aid projects, broken down by states, in the South and beyond.
THE OKRA PROJECT: “a collective that seeks to address the global crisis faced by Black Trans people by bringing home cooked, healthy, and culturally specific meals and resources to Black Trans People wherever we can reach them.” The Project plans to open applications to offer $80 to TPOC affected by the COVID crisis again soon.

TRANS JUSTICE FUNDING PROJECT has a list of its grantees (such as House of GG), many of which are helping people during the COVID crisis – specifically trans/GNC organizations.
